yet another project done!

this time, it’s another map.
it’s not quite my magnum opus, but it’s a start.
what vancouver needs is a schematic map of bus routes.
neo-modernist epistles in a post-modern world.

Beautiful! If it had the Translink route numbers on it, I’d totally use it for real transit.
I noticed you coupled Arbutus with Oak, 4th with Renfrew, Granville with Fraser, UBC/10th with Hastings… and added the UBC train. Neat touches.

arbutus and oak were my doing. my guess was that they both have roughly similar service patterns.
4th and renfrew – that is in the works eventually. it would actually make pretty big efficiencies.
granville and fraser – it’s not something new, actually. this is actually a return to what it used to be – granville to fraser via downtown. also, both routes are slated to receive double-articulated buses when the canada line opens, so this is actually quite likely.
10th/hastings – again, this is the way it used to be.
so, it’s really not that new, nor can i claim a whole lot of credit for these. these are closer to the routes that i grew up with here
