queen street west.

January 30, 2007

in toronto, queen street west has been known for quite some time as the canvas of avant-garde capital. it’s no wonder why it’s been called canada’s coolest neighbourhood.

so, without further ado, let me recommend two establishments on this beat:

  • terroni. home of the best coffee in toronto, hands down. 720 queen street west (several blocks west of bathurst).
  • the tequila bookworm. beer, coffee and free wireless; what more to ask for? 512 queen street west (between bathurst and spadina)

catch both of these slick joints via the 501 streetcar. you won’t be disappointed.

i’m gonna be very sad to leave this place.
